Team USA chiropractor and wellness advisor who served athletes at four Olympic Games and eight World Championships.

Dr. Ben Lerner served as a chiropractor and wellness advisor for U.S. World Wrestling, Weightlifting, and Judo teams, working across four Olympic Games Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, London 2012, and Rio 2016 and eight World Championships between 1995 and 1999. He was the first chiropractor named to the USA Wrestling World Team in 1995.

At the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, he treated Olympic athletes including eventual gold medalists Kendall Cross, Kurt Angle, and Tom Brands.

Before his career in healthcare, Dr. Lerner was himself an accomplished competitive wrestler a former NCAA All American and a 1988 Olympic hopeful. His sports involvement extended well beyond wrestling: he and the organizations he built worked with athletes and programs across the NBA, MLB, NFL Alumni Association, USA Judo, USA Weightlifting, and LPGA.

As Maximized Living grew, this personal legacy scaled into a national effort more than 180 Maximized Living physicians traveled to London for the 2012 Olympics to support Team USA athletes, turning his individual work into a broad healthcare network serving elite athletes.
