Cofounded and scaled Maximized Living into an international healthcare organization spanning clinics, licensees and manufacturing.
In 1999, Dr. Ben Lerner cofounded Maximized Living and served as its CEO through December 2016, before the company was sold in January 2017. Under his leadership, Maximized Living grew into an international healthcare organization encompassing more than 120 franchised locations and 500 licensees, operating across five interconnected companies.
The organization also built out manufacturing operations for nutritional supplements and spinal rehabilitation equipment.
At the clinical level, Dr. Lerner owned and operated five chiropractic clinics in Central Florida, which collectively handled an estimated 12,000 to 15,000 patient visits per month.
Over the course of his career, he consulted with thousands of doctors and chiropractic students, helping shape training and business practices across the wider chiropractic wellness industry, which by some industry accounts grew to include more than 400 affiliated clinics nationwide.
